Made in Cumbria Membership
There are two tiers of membership, Full and Affiliate. Full MembershipFull membership provides access to practical business services and sales opportunities and is available to Cumbrian based businesses in the Craft, Creative and Food sectors that fulfil Trading Standards product requirements. Trading Standards state that:
All manufacturers, processors, producers and traders must also comply with all applicable trading, food and drugs, consumer and health and safety laws. Affiliate MembershipAffiliate membership is open to Cumbrian based businesses and individuals who wish to support the ethos of Made in Cumbria (MIC) whilst benefiting from access to the Made in Cumbria network. Businesses eligible for the affiliate membership could be printing and packaging companies, interior designers, web designers, marketing and PR companies etc. How to apply for membershipto request an application form. Remember to include your name and address and whether you are a Craft/Creative or a Food business, and also whether you are interested in the full or affiliate membership. The main difference is that you can only trade through Made in Cumbria if you have a full membership. |

Established in 1989 as an economic development initiative by Cumbria County Council to promote the sales of crafts, gifts and local foods, Made in Cumbria provides practical business services, sales opportunities and marketing information to Cumbrian based businesses.
