Dawn Chandler

I have had many commissions to paint portraits over the years of both people and animals, but more recently I have taken to painting shoes.

It started with a pair of 1960s tap shoes and grew from there. A gift of some second hand ballet pointe shoes and a commission to paint a pair of Harley Davidson motorcycle boots really set me on my way as a shoe artist. I have heard that a child`s first shoes can be preserved in brass, but why not have a painting of them as well.
