Stickmaking Courses

Stickmaking and Horncraft are able to offer a range of one, two, three or even four day stickmaking courses held in our unit in Carlisle, Cumbria.

The courses include stickmaking supplies with expert tuition so that you can take away your prized walking stick made during the weekend to show everyone what you have achieved and learnt.

The courses start at 9.30am and finish at a point when all is to be achieved during that day, or to suit the course member.

The course is designed and presented with a hands on approach and we request that you wear clothing appropriate for the course.

Try one of our courses as part of a holiday, weekend break or simply wanting to refresh your stickmaking skills.

There are several courses to choose from including making sticks with wooden handles, stag horn, buffalo horn and rams horn. All materials are included in the price.

The cost for the course/s is £90.00 per day

We request that you contact us to make a booking and check all arrangements are in place prior to attending one of our courses. This makes sure all accommodation, catering needs, directions, dates and type of course are correctly sorted prior to the commencement of the course thus you the customer gets full value for money.

There is also an opportunity to purchase stickmaking supplies during the course at a discounted rate.
