Hours: Friday and Saturday 10am to 5pm, Easter to Christmas.

I produce a very wide range of thrown and hand built stoneware, from mugs and bowls to large sculptural pieces for the home and garden. Trade orders and private commissions welcome. The barn houses gallery, craft workers, antiques, architectural items and café.

06 HUTTON LODGE POTTERY
Domestic thrown stoneware. Finished in cream/green, cream/blue slip brushed decoration. High fired oven to tableware.
Hours: Eight till late seven days. Closed Christmas and New Year.
Directions: In Kirkby Stephen, turn towards Crosby Garret/Appleby off the A685. In Soulby follow brown tourist pottery signs.

Workshop and showroom established in 1972 displaying a wide range of Ceramics by John Kershaw. He makes bold simple forms with strong contrasting textures of clay and glaze, from individual large scale plates and planters to functional tableware.

Directions: Situated in the centre of Windermere down alley way.

08 Stokoe House Ceramics Gallery
Ceramics inspired by the Pennine Landscape, by Syl and Ray Macro are on display in this unique 17th century building. Changing exhibitions by other ceramic artists are held throughout the year.
Hours: Easter to October 10-5 daily. Closed Tuesdays (except school holidays) November/December weekends only. Winter time please phone for information.
